Jam Master Jay Remembered

Six years ago today, JMJ was shot in his recording studio in his hometown Queens, New York. He was the DJ for Run DMC - one of the most influential groups to ever come out of Hip-Hop. It was this group that would achieve groundbreaking accomplishments such as the first rap group to: have a #1 album on the R&B charts, top 10 album in the pop charts, recieve a multi-platinum album, appear on the cover of Rolling Stones magazine, recieve a Grammy Award nomination, and debut their video on MTV.
